Herman Jim Hale was indicted on two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of committing a lewd act upon a child. After trial by jury, he was convicted on two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and sentenced to concurrent terms of eighteen years and ten years imprisonment.
