BATCHELDER, J.

The defendant appeals from his conviction for possession of marijuana with intent to sell. RSA 318-B:26, I(a)(2). We affirm.

On the evening of September 11, 1983, Norman Mello, a part-time officer with the Rollinsford Police Department, was on duty at a singles dance at the American Legion club in Rollinsford.
