Plaintiff-appellee Eugenel B. Fontenot sued defendants-appellants Hanover Insurance Company and Audubon Insurance Company for the proceeds of insurance policies covering plaintiff's harvested sweet potatoes and packing materials, which had been destroyed by fire. A jury trial resulted in a verdict for plaintiff. The insurance proceeds and statutory penalties and attorney fees were awarded to plaintiff. We hold that the jury instructions were erroneous...
