On the present appeals, defendant contends that he was illegally stopped by Sergeant John Fey of the Rockville Centre Police Department as he was merely walking down the street. He claims he was then transported to a police station for questioning against his will and effectively arrested, and that, therefore, a glove and all other evidence derived from the encounter should be suppressed...
