The issue presented by this appeal is whether or not the trial court committed reversible error during the trial of this matter before the jury.

The defendant, Hayward P. Thibodeaux, was charged by bill of information with the crime of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, in violation of La.R.S. 40:966(A)(1).
