THOMSON, P.J., January 24, 1985.

Defendant was arrested on December 13, 1982, and his bail was set at $500,000. Bail was then reduced to $75,000 upon request of defendant's counsel. Respondents each posted bail in the amount of $37,500, totaling $75,000 upon alleged representations of the Pennsylvania State Police and the Federal Authorities that defendant was in the Federal Witness Protection Program and would appear for all scheduled court dates.
