On August 3, 1984, appellant Gary Schaefer was charged with two counts of second degree murder (with intent) under Minn.Stat. §§ 609.19(1), 609.05, 609.11, and with two counts of second degree murder (felony murder) under Minn.Stat. §§ 609.19(2), 609.05, 609.11.
