He brought suit against Harnischfeger Corp., the manufacturer of the crane; Chatham Machinery Co., the distributor; Georgia Power Co.; and E. R. Van Horne, alleging that the crane was defective and unsafe, not reasonably suited to the use intended, and negligently maintained...
