Defendant was indicted for the crimes of grand larceny in the third degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the second degree as a result of his alleged participation in the burglary of a jewelry shop located in a resort hotel. Plea bargaining resulted in an agreement wherein defendant would plead guilty to the criminal possession count in full satisfaction of the indictment in exchange for which the District Attorney agreed to recommend...
