Plaintiff appeals from the district court's granting of a judgment notwithstanding the verdict in an action for legal malpractice.

Plaintiff, Wilbur Devine, was hired by the Iowa Department of Public Safety (DPS) on October 5, 1975, as an undercover agent in vice enforcement.
