This is an appeal from a Superior Court judgment resulting from a negligence action brought by Gordon Ondis on behalf of his minor daughter, Aleta, against the town of Lincoln and Norman Pion, a Lincoln police officer. The plaintiffs sought damages as a result of a 1974 accident in which Aleta, while riding her bicycle, was injured after having been struck by a motor vehicle operated by Officer Pion.
