On February 6, 1981, there was an explosion at the Union Texas Petroleum Corporation's tank battery at its Orange Grove field in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. This explosion took the lives of four employees of Antill Pipeline Construction Company, Barry J. Lirette, Murphy Pitre, Allen Bourgeois, and Danny Ledet.
