R & R Enterprises of New Orleans, Inc. instituted this proceeding in the 24th Judicial District Court for damages allegedly caused by Rivers and Gulf Marine Surveys, Inc. in negligently preparing a survey and appraisal report on a vessel known as "The Riverboat Tchefuncte", a floating restaurant situated in Madisonville, Louisiana.
