Louis Johnson was charged by bill of information on January 20, 1983, with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, a violation of La.R.S. 40:966(A)(1). Defendant originally pled not guilty, but changed his plea to guilty as charged after the trial court denied his motion to suppress.
