PARKER, Judge.

In his first assignment of error, defendant contends the trial court erred in denying his motion to dismiss the charge against him at the close of the State's evidence because the evidence was insufficient to convince a rational juror beyond a reasonable doubt of his participation in a drug smuggling operation on the night of 1 May 1984.
