The plaintiff sought a writ of mandamus directing the defendant chief of police to add his name to the list of licensed towers of motor vehicles who are used by officials of the city of New Haven to perform such services upon request. At the conclusion of the testimony offered by the plaintiff, the defendant moved, pursuant to Practice Book § 302, for a judgment of dismissal for failure to make out a prima facie case, and the court rendered judgment...
