MEMORANDUM OPINION

On January 7, 1985, the Lebanon District Court found the defendant guilty of reckless driving, RSA 265:79 (Supp. 1983). The defendant then moved for an extension of the 30-day period provided for appeal to this court, see RSA 599:1-c, II (Supp. 1983), and also petitioned the superior court to accept an appeal for trial de novo under RSA 599:1 (Supp. 1983).
