A Cobb County jury found appellant Lamons guilty on one count of violating the Dangerous Drug Act, OCGA § 16-13-70 et seq., by selling pills containing amitriptyline; and on one count of violating the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, OCGA § 16-13-1 et seq., by selling ephedrine (a non-scheduled drug) on the express representation that it was a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Lamons was sentenced to a total of ten years' imprisonment...
