(2684)

3 Conn. App. 459 (1985)

STATE OF CONNECTICUT v. FRED KURITZ

Appellate Court of Connecticut.

Decision released April 2, 1985.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Erskine D. McIntosh, assistant public defender, with whom, on the brief, was Joette Katz, public defender, for the appellant (defendant).

Susann E. Gill, deputy assistant state's attorney, with whom, on the brief, were John T. Redway, state's attorney, and Timothy J. Liston and John M. Massameno, assistant state's attorneys, for the appellee (state).

DUPONT, C.P.J., BORDEN and DALY, JS.

DUPONT, C.P.J.

After a jury trial, the defendant was convicted of the crime of injury or risk of injury to a minor child, in violation of General Statutes § 53-21. The sole issue1 of this appeal2 is whether the trial court erred in refusing to preclude the state from introducing into evidence a prior felony conviction of the defendant for the purpose of impeaching his credibility as a witness.
