HAYS, Justice.

Respondent, Roy Raul Sanchez, was tried by a jury and convicted of escape in the third degree. A.R.S. § 13-2502. At the time of this incident, respondent was on probation from a prior conviction for aggravated robbery. A.R.S. § 13-1903. At sentencing, the trial judge revoked respondent's probation and ordered him to serve 3.75 years for aggravated robbery and 2.25 years for escape.
