In a multi-count indictment filed in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, appellant was charged with two counts, each, of child abuse, third degree sexual offense, and battery. These charges were based on the underlying accusation that, at one or more times between December, 1977, and January, 1984, appellant had unlawful sexual contact with his daughter, M, and that at one or more times between June and December, 1983, he had unlawful sexual contact...
