Petitioner was convicted and sentenced for possession of a controlled substance in violation of Iowa Code section 204.401(3), operating a motor vehicle without consent in violation of Iowa Code section 714.7, and burglary in the second degree, for which he had been on probation, in violation of Iowa Code sections 713.1, 713.3. The conviction followed a guilty plea by petitioner which he subsequently asked to withdraw on the grounds that the State had...
