The jury found the defendant guilty of robbery in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (1), and larceny in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-123 (a) (2). He claims on appeal that the trial court erred: (1) in refusing to take measures to minimize the potentially prejudicial effect of police photographs of the defendant; and (2) in allowing into evidence the defendant's out-of-court
