Terry Steven Thomas, the appellant, was convicted by a jury in the Circuit Court for Howard County (Nissel, J. presiding), of the first degree murder of Dwayne Matthews, the use of a handgun in the commission of that crime of violence, and conspiracy to rob Dwayne Matthews. For the murder he was sentenced to life imprisonment. A ten year consecutive sentence was imposed on the handgun charge, and a concurrent ten year sentence ordered on the conspiracy...
