Following a joint trial, defendant Cecil Thurman "Jim" Kinkade and codefendant Thomas Pearson were each convicted of one count of first-degree murder, A.R.S. §§ 13-1105, 13-1101, and one count of armed robbery, A.R.S. §§ 13-1904, 13-1901 and 13-1902. On appeal, this court, 140 Ariz. 91, 680 P.2d 801, held that it was reversible error to grant the state's motion...
