The plaintiff in this wrongful-death action alleges that her 2-year-old son died in 1971 as the result of negligent medical treatment administered to him at the Columbus Medical Center. Originally named as defendants were the City of Columbus, Georgia, as the proprietor of the medical center, and four physicians employed by that institution, including Dr. Sam Miller, who is the only defendant now remaining in the case.
