Defendant appeals from an order invoking suspended sentences of 6 months and 1 month in jail. The jail sentences, imposed by the Ashe County District Court on 13 September 1984 following defendant's conviction of drunk and disruptive conduct, G.S. 14-444, and communicating threats, G.S. 14-277.1, were suspended for five years on condition that he neither possess nor consume any alcoholic beverage during that time.
