WATKINS, Judge:

This is an appeal from the judgment of sentence dated January 23, 1984, in the Court of Common Pleas of York County. On November 7, 1983, the appellant entered a guilty plea to the offenses of burglary and theft alleged to have occurred on May 24, 1983. On January 23, 1984, the appellant was sentenced to a term of not less than three (3) years nor more than six (6) years in a state correctional institution.
