Plaintiff, Western Food Products Co., Inc., was the owner of an airplane insured by defendant, United States Fire Insurance Company. The plane was totally destroyed in a crash on January 5, 1981, and plaintiff filed a claim for its loss with the insurer. Defendant denied coverage for the loss and plaintiff filed this action.
