Following a bench trial, defendants, Walter Anderson, a/k/a Walter J. Henderson, and Wendall M. Jackson, a/k/a Mathew Jackson, were found guilty of residential burglary (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 19-3(a)), and were each subsequently sentenced under the extended-term statute (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1983, ch. 38, par. 1005-8-2) to 17 years' imprisonment.
