The plaintiffs, Wendell Durr and Jean Durr, brought suit in negligence against the defendant, John Stille, Pin Oak Township Commissioner, for damages sustained by their two automobiles when the plaintiffs drove over a stretch of township road that had been freshly oiled and covered with gravel.
