Defendant, Paul Baker, was charged in a six-count information with armed violence, aggravated battery and attempted murder of Cornelio Cruz and Angie Stoklasa. After a jury trial he was found guilty on all counts and sentenced to a term of 40 years for attempted murder and a term of 25 years for armed violence, the sentences to be served...
