Defendant, age 17 at the time of the instant offenses, appeals as of right from convictions of second-degree murder, MCL 750.317; MSA 28.549, and voluntary manslaughter, MCL 750.321; MSA 28.553, following a jury trial in Genesee County Circuit Court. Defendant was sentenced on August 29, 1983, to 40 to 60 years in prison for the second-degree murder conviction and 10 to 15 years in prison for the manslaughter...
