Defendant Lansing General Hospital appeals as of right from a $1,000,000 jury verdict in favor of plaintiffs. We affirm.

Gene Christopher Schneider was admitted to Lansing General Hospital at the age of seven years for the performance of a tonsilectomy and a bilateral tympanotomy. The surgery occurred on June 16, 1978.
