The question on this appeal is whether the employment of a probationary police officer may be terminated at the end of the probationary term because the appointing officer has a good-faith basis for believing that the officer has "deep-seated emotional problems * * * and an inability to deal with stressful situations" where the source for that belief is a report by a doctor who treated the officer...
