The defendant, Edward Keiser, was charged in a two count information with robbery in the first degree, in violation of General Statutes § 53a-134 (a) (2),1 and carrying a pistol without a permit, in violation of General Statutes § 29-35.2 A jury found him guilty on both counts, and he was sentenced to an effective term of not more than sixteen...
