The Orphans' Court for Calvert County, through administrative probate, appointed appellee, Willie Clagett Coates, personal representative of the Estate of Ernest Wesley Coates. The basis of the appointment was appellee's assertion that he was the only surviving son of the decedent. Appellants, Verla Cannon Hall and others, petitioned for judicial probate, alleging that Ernest Coates had died testate and that appellee was not Ernest's son. In addition...
