SWANSON, J.

Jerry W. Wernick appeals his judgment and sentence on the crime of indecent liberties alleging that the trial court erroneously denied his motion to dismiss for a violation of the speedy trial rule. We affirm.

In the early afternoon of August 10, 1982, Snohomish County deputy sheriffs arrested Wernick, transported him to the Snohomish County Jail, and processed and booked him into custody. The police, however, never advised Wernick of the charges...
