This is an action brought by the plaintiff, Lorraine Alvarado, to recover damages for false arrest, assault, defamation, and violation of civil rights under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (1982). The case was submitted to a jury which brought in a verdict in favor of the defendants. Plaintiff appealed to the Court of Appeals which reversed and remanded the case for a new trial (Alvarado v. City of Dodge City...
