Following a jury trial, Mary D. Suchy was convicted as charged of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and arson, MCL 750.157a; MSA 28.354(1), arson of a dwelling house, MCL 750.72; MSA 28.267, solicitation to commit first-degree murder, MCL 750.505; MSA 28.773, and first-degree murder, MCL 750.316; MSA 28.548. On July 12, 1983, she was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder and conspiracy convictions...
