Cowiche Basin Partnership, Frontier Lands, Inc., and Dean and Victoria Thomas (hereinafter collectively referred to as Cowiche) appeal a summary judgment dismissing their action against Len Mayer for moneys allegedly due it under a mineral lease. We agree with the Superior Court's holding that Cowiche failed to obtain a proper ratification of the lease from its underlying contract holders; therefore, Mr. Mayer's lease obligations never matured.
