In these consolidated cases, three grand jury witnesses facing state prosecution appeal the orders of the district court compelling their testimony pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 6002 and the subsequent orders holding them in contempt for refusing to testify. Noting that the immunity provided under § 6002 is coextensive with the protection provided by the Fifth Amendment and pertains to state criminal prosecutions as well as to federal prosecutions...
