BORDEN, J.

These cases involve two former members of the Waterbury police department whose widows are claiming benefits under General Statutes § 7-433c.1 The workers' compensation commissioner dismissed both claims and the compensation review division affirmed the commissioner's decisions. The plaintiffs appealed.2 We find no error.
