This case is on appeal from the decision of the trial court which overruled appellants' motion for an award of prejudgment interest pursuant to R.C. 1343.03(C). The motion was filed to obtain an award of prejudgment interest on a judgment issued in this matter pursuant to a jury verdict of $20,000 to plaintiff-appellant Michelle Mills and of $5,000 to plaintiff Sharon Mills in a personal injury action.
