William Boyd Tucker was tried in the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, for the August 1977 murder of Kathleen Perry. He was convicted of murder, kidnapping with bodily injury, and robbery by intimidation. The jury sentenced Tucker to death for the murder and lesser terms for the other crimes.
