The only issues on appeal in this complex personal injury suit are whether the district court erred, either in directing a verdict for the defendants after both sides had rested, or in three evidentiary rulings during the trial. In an earlier appeal of this case, we held that the district court should not have entered a summary judgment and we remanded the case for trial of the disputed issues...
