This tort action, brought by 26 former employees of a pesticide plant and 13 of their spouses, seeks damages for injuries as a result of exposure to certain chemicals. The employee-plaintiffs brought this action against their employer, Allied, and 14 other companies which allegedly supplied chemicals to the plant (hereinafter "supplier defendants").
