The defendant, Clarence Dean, appeals from judgments entered upon verdicts of a Worcester County jury finding him guilty of the crimes of kidnapping (G.L.c. 265, § 26) and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (G.L.c. 265, § 15A). He was sentenced to concurrent terms of three and one-half to six years at M.C.I., Walpole, sentences suspended, probation for five years.1...
