Plaintiffs initiated this action on January 3, 1985, against defendants, essentially alleging a claim based upon the tort of "third-party" insurance "bad faith." Plaintiffs specifically allege that defendant, Kansas City Fire and Marine Insurance Company, and its agent, defendant Williamson, failed to acknowledge and act promptly with respect to plaintiffs' claims, failed to promptly investigate the claims...
