LENT, Justice.

The question presented is whether a motor vehicle driver who intentionally collides with another's vehicle has had an "accident" within the meaning of ORS 483.602.

ORS 483.602 provides:

"(1) The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident which results in injury or death to any person or causes damage to a vehicle which is driven or attended by any person, immediately shall stop such vehicle...
